Coach Robert Starr has been a pivotal figure in Alabama soccer for over 20 years, serving as the only head coach of Spain Park High School Girls Soccer since 2002 and contributing to player development at Vestavia Hills Soccer Club for over two decades.

At Spain Park, Coach Starr has led the program to five state championships, including a remarkable Class 7A State Championship in 2022. That season, his team defeated top-ranked opponents like Oak Mountain and Vestavia Hills, earning him the Shelby County Coach of the Year award.

At VHSC, Coach Starr has dedicated himself to fostering skill development, teamwork, and a passion for the game. His ability to inspire players and build championship-winning teams has made him a cornerstone of the soccer community.
